Find scissors. It’s helpful if you use scissors that are actually intended for cutting hair, but if such scissors are not readily available, feel free to use safety scissors, kitchen scissors, or twigs from your backyard, whittled into dual blades.
Stand in front of a mirror. (Optional.)
Begin cutting your hair. The key here is speed. Many beginners lose valuable time by dwelling on such trivial matters as “forming a plan” and “trying to see what they’re doing”. While tempting, these issues serve only as a distraction from your ultimate goal.
Take pictures and post them on your blog.
